Why Learn With Rise Surf School

We offer a small friendly operation seeking total
customer satisfaction. If you already know the basics
or are more advanced we can help you become even
better. Rise surf school will start out as a BSA
Level 2 Approved surf school. This means we can coach
all different levels of surfing. More advanced
surfers can have he option of video analysis at no
extra cost. The coaches have a British Surfing
Association qualification and lifeguard certificate
with coaching insurance.

Jesse Davies started surfing at a young age with his
brother Gabe and later his brother Owain. He and Gabe
were fortunate to be inspired and helped by a
professional surfer of the time called Vietch.

At 17 Jesse was in the top 30 men at the Mens division at
the Europeans Championships hosted in Portugal. He
has been East Coast and Scottish mens Champion. In
2005/6 he has a 5th place British senior ranking.
After four years of study at Plymouth University in
Geography and Hydrographic Surveying he went on surf
and work around the world. He now has over 2 years
professional surf coaching experience gained locally,
nationally and abroad.
